Cutie Mark: Shadow's cutie mark is a pen writing on a scroll. She got this when she wrote a speech for the summer sun celebration. When she delivered the speech, everypony was cheering, which inspired Shadow to become a writer.

Personality: Shadow is very sociable and tries her best to make new friends. She is also very imaginative and will take time to think of a way to fix a problem instead of charging into it headlong.

Backstory: Shadow was born in the city of Canerlot to two loving parents. She also has one brother. At the age of six, she started to attend school. When she grew older, Shadow started writing, and soon found out that she loved it. When she turned 18, Shadow moved to Ponyville and started her official writing career. As of now, she has written five books and two articles.
