Cutie Mark: One day, when Shakila was walking beside a construction site, she noticed that a crane had a loose gear. She told the contracter what she had seen, and the contracter told her "What do you know about loose gears, you *explicitive* stripey?!" Later that day, the crane became jammed, and fell down upon the building, demolishing it. After witnessing the remains of the to-be high rise, Shakila earned her cutie mark.

Personality: Outside, Shakila is no nonesense. She is willing to fight anyone who even suggests that zebra are less competent. <br />Inside, she feels alienated and exotified by others. She is very insecure about herself.

Backstory: Shakila is half-unicorn, half-zebra. Her mom was a unicorn and her dad was a zebra. She was born in Canterlot, and her dad left when she was less than five. Being the only zebra attending Canterlot magic school, she was always ridiculed and harrassed. Fellow schoolmates would say stuff such as "You're so exotic" "Why is a zebra, lower than earth ponies, even in Canterlot" "You are an ugly freak", and even "Let's skin this stripey. The pelt could make a nice coat." Techers were also harsh and rude towards her. When she travelled to other parts of Equestria, irrational ponies would fear her. Countless numbers of time, service providers have refused to serve her because of the stripes on her fur.
