Cutie Mark: A four leaf clover, with one of the leaves ripped off. Meant to represent bad luck.

Personality: He's certainly not what you'd call "Daring", He's somewhat shy, doesn't like taking risks as he knows they wont pay off for him, docile. He's certainly not Fluttershy level, he'll talk to ponies he doesn't know without too much issue, and he wont hide under tables or anything, but he certainly isn't the most courageous. He usually acts somewhat startled, even if there's nothing going on.

Backstory: Even though he's an only child, he comes from a large family with lot's of cousins, aunts, and whoever those ponies you meet on holidays who say excitedly "I haven't seen you in AGES! How are you?" that you don't even recognise. <br />His house was in a place about 30-40 minuets away from ponyville, not that he had been there, as his family was fairly close by.<br /><br /> He had a small group of friends in school, who even before he got his cutie mark, all knew he had fairly bad luck. <br />The day he got his cutie mark was, as you might expect, a pretty unlucky one. <br />He was playing a minor role in a school play, he certainly didn't like acting, and he was somewhat afraid, but he had convinced himself that 2 or 3 lines isn't much, and most ponies wont even be focusing on him. <br />When it was his turn to go on, he didn't have his costume on, so he tried to pull it on as fast as he could. He got on stage, there was about 10 seconds before he had to say his line, when his time came around, he said, "I don't-" before tripping over the costume, falling into a wall, causing a rope to untie, <br />the rope caused a bag of sand to start falling, but suddenly, Shamrock got caught in the rope, he went up a few feet, but then the bag stopped falling, and started swinging, <br />it swung into the group of lights lighting the entire scene, two of which went out, then, they suddenly jerked downwards, were still for a few seconds, and then fell. <br />They didn't hit anypony, but they fell right through the stage floor, the rope holding shamrock shambles and the bag of sand broke, <br />Shambles fell to the ground, and the bag of sand fell into a big 4-leaf clover prop, breaking the top left leaf. <br />Right when Shamrock stood up and looked around, a similar looking broken four leaf clover appeared as his cutie mark. <br />That would have almost made things better, if the fallen lights had not started a fire.<br /><br />Not only was Shamrock Shambles upset that this was how he got his cutie mark, but he realised that it meant we wasn't even going to have a special talent, as the only thing it showed him being good at was being unlucky.<br /><br />After he finished school, he decided to move to ponyville, so he could meet new ponies, but still be fairly close to his family.
