Cutie Mark: A square within a diamond (both white outlines)
Personality: Fun loving and cheerful. Shimmering Grace has a playful nature about her that wavers between silly and flirtatious. Of average intelligence, Shimmering Grace relies more on her ability to connect with others. She loves to drink and party with her friends and prefers small to medium sized gatherings over large extravagant events. Her preferred approach is the more intimate type of interaction with each friend or group of friends that a larger gathering doesn’t accommodate for.

Although she is 25 years old, she appears to be much younger than she is. Age estimates sometimes range from 13 to 19 years old, which has caused problems for her in the past. She can drink most stallions under the table (a considerable feat due to her height/weight ratio). Although she owns her own house and is very well off, Shimmering Grace feels a crushing loneliness when she returns to her empty home. The laughter and joy of being with her friends seems to dissipate in the moderately sized house that seems too big for one pony. She avoids coming to her own house as much as possible unless she is hosting a party or other gathering of some sort.
Backstory: Shimmering Grace works as an administrative assistant in a large pharmaceutical company. She grew up in a larger than average family with 4 sisters and 3 brothers. She is the third to youngest foal. Her parents worked on a hay farm and had a laze faire attitude when it came to parenting. They only required that chores be done and the rest of the time was free for the foals to do with as they pleased. Shimmering Grace left the farm when she was 18 to seek a career elsewhere, since there were no opportunities for her in the small rural village she grew up in.
