Cutie Mark: Shimmering Rain's (Nickname, Shimmer) cutie mark is raindrops (made of rainbows) falling from a cloud, while a rainbow comes out of the cloud above.

Personality: Shimmering Rain is adventurous and high-spirited, but she can be very gentle and cares for everyone. She is extremely intelligent, kind, and a good flier.

Backstory: Shimmering Rain grew up in Ponyville. She always saw the Pegasi bringing in clouds for rain, but she thought that light rainbow-type rain wasn't coming as often as it should. So when her time came to bring weather, she always brought the rain clouds that produced shimmering rainbows. This became her official job.
