Personality: Shimmerspeed loves reading, being helpful and LOVES making friends! She is friendly, helpful, nice, caring, sweet and totally loveable!!!

Backstory: Shimmerspeed was born in Cloudsdale as a Pegasus, and lived with her mum, dad and younger brother.<br />She earned her cutie mark by standing up for and befriending an outcast at her school.<br />When she turned 12, she moved to Ponyville for a change of scenery and to make more friends. She bought a cosy cottage and made many new friends.<br />One day, she was reading a family tree book she found in the Ponyville Library and found out she was VERY distantly related to the Princesses! She sent a letter to Princess Celestia, explaining everything. The Princess was happy she had found a new relative and invited Shimmerspeed to Canterlot to get to know each other a little more. That's when Princess Celestia saw something unique inside of Shimmerspeed. Friendship. She explained this to Shimmerspeed and said she needed to study with the Princess to learn more about it, to make it stronger. Eventually, Shimmerspeed finished her studies at the age of 15 and Princess Celestia reincarnated her into an Alicorn Princess.<br />Shimmerspeed now lives in Ponyville in her cottage, practising magic ( that's her weak spot ) and studying magic.
