Personality: Pre-Curse
Unknown

Post-Curse
At heart she wants to be helpful to others but has forgotten how to judge consequences or how to properly weight what is important. In her attempts to help others she is more likely to help one who will FEEL like they did something important rather then help one who actually DOES something important. She will help those who she believes with gain the most self-satisfaction from her aid. (example; help somepony win a race rather then help somepony save their home.)

Will almost always investigate if she hears someone in distress. But may choose to avoid the situation if she has to present herself physically or believes communication is the only way of helping. This often makes her feel guilty she didn't try. But she dos not fully understand this feeling and can not overcome her actions despite understanding it doesn't make her feel 'good'.

She has fears of direct sunlight. Thought light doesn't physically hurt her it does cause her a sense of claustrophobia and can lead her to panic attacks and anxiety (feels safety while in shadow or darkness). She also fears being seen or being spoken to directly. General blanket of social anxiety.
Backstory: When she was young she had a relative who passed away before there were able to make a breakthrough in there work. She concluded that everypony could make life changing differences and achieve great things if only they had the time. So she started looking for ponies who had information on immortality.

After 5 years of research and travel, she found her way to a mad unicorn who was believed to have an answer to immortality. When she found and confronted him about it he quickly admitted that yes, he could make her immortal. She asked him if he himself was immortal to which he replied no, the spell could not be used on the one casting it. After some reluctancey she determined that the opportunity was too good. For the unicorn mage was quite old himself and no one was sure how much longer his mind would stay intact. This could be her only chance. With underwhelming effect the mage casts his spell. After moments of seeming no effect or fanfare she asks if it worked. Briefly looking out the window he turns to her and tells her she should know soon enough an bids her to leave his home. He wishes her luck with everlasting life and in a puff of smoke and blinding light he vanishes, leaving his home little more then an empty shack.

As she took flight to begin her journey home, her head began to grow fuzzy. As the sun roze she lost her strength to fly and her vision went black. When she awoke it is night again, She assumed it was just a reaction to the spell. But after occurring again every night after she begun to suspect that in exchange for immortality she was cursed, no longer able to see the light of day. Eventually she came to find that as night fades and day begins her physical body actually vanished from the world.

After coming to the realization that her immortality came bound with a curse she began searching for a cure. The unicorn mage who had cast the spell was nowhere to be found. After nearly 50 years of searching she believed that zebra magic was the answer. Village after village she spoke to zebra herbalists, warlocks and potion makers looking for a cure. Her persistence in meddling with her species magic irritated a particular zeba witch. The witch contacted her, telling her she could fix her problem. Once they meet the zebra witch brewed a potion that she guaranteed would fix her problem and instructed her to drink it that night, one hour before the sun rose. She left the witch and following her instructions, drank the potion an hour before sunrise. As the hour passed her mind grew more blank and her vision more blurred. As the sun came over the horizon she felt a sensation she had never felt before. Her view became flattened and the world around her felt as though she was looking through a window. As the day passed she tried to see the sun, but no matter how hard she tried she could not see it directly. By noon her mind had begun to clear and she found herself having difficulty moving around at all, it was at this time she realized that she had once again been cursed. She had been trapped inside the shadows of the forest around her, only able to move around within them. When night fell she was able to move more freely but her body was still bound to the flat surface of the shadows. In exchange for her existence during the day she had given up her physical body.

Over 200 years passed before she found a way to reform herself into a 3 dimensional manifestation and move around freely, night or day. With no interaction with other ponies and being bound within the forest she found herself lost in she had gone through a psychotic phase where she lost herself. Who she had been had long been forgotten and in the process her cutie mark with it. Being little more then a shell of a being, an entity conscious energy, and serving no true purpose she slowly sets out to find reason for existing.
