He spent all his spare time training in heavier armor than was necessary. this mad him very strong in defenses with the lighter, standard armor. his cutiemark appeared in the form of Nightmare moons insignia on a shield.

Personality: He is a very straight forward stallion. He spends a lot of the daylight hours sleeping. at night he is usually doing rounds, but when he is off he is a real mare chaser. he is a step above many other stallions and he knows it. he is always showing off his strength by lifting earth mares off the ground. in general a flirt, but level minded in combat where he becomes very engrossed on his objective.

His sonic boom causes a large shadow to shroud the underlying land and the darkness does not entail him. he has not pulled off the boom since his guard test.
