Personality: He is a timid teenager who's often in deep thought about current issues and the things around him. He's not usually the one to start a conversation, but will attempt to converse if necessary. He often wonders what the future may hold, and if he will ever be able to succeed in life, as his confidence isn't often great. He loves his magic but is still only a novice, so he spends his days trying to learn about the ways he can improve his confidence, as that would be his first step to achieving his goal of becoming a powerful unicorn. At other times when he is not deep in thought or busy he will spend his time reading books, learning about the wonders of Equestria, and wondering if there are places further than Equestria. In rare cases, he can blow his fuse, as he doesn't like when things go wrong, but good friends and happy family can cool that temper... most of the time.

Backstory: Skylar, or simply Sky was a young colt living in Manechester. He lived a simple life in his younger years in school, he had a few friends, a few enemies that would taunt him on his size, his easily upset moods, and his lack of retaliation. He soon left school as his enemies started to get on his last nerve, leaving behind his friends, some would call this being a coward, maybe this was true, but he didn't see it this way, he saw it as a way to start learning properly, because the trouble the bullies had caused him had slowed his learning, and became more and more upset everyday. He soon started teaching himself, using the kind of books you would find in any regular school, but instead learning what HE wanted to learn. He soon learned the basics of magic, his grandad was a unicorn as well, and had noticed Skylars unique control over his magic, it seemed almost remarkable his ways of controlling novice spells better than most other colts. He remains a novice to this day, as he didn't originally believe that has talent was in magic, he was somewhat of a slacker, but soon realised that he did have a knack for magic, this was a little late for learning more about novice magic as he was already 15, but he tried to learn as much about magic as he could soon after. He was very lonely after leaving school, he hadn't had a friend in many years, though he did have a friend where he used to live, his parents decided it would be good to get a fresh start somewhere else and maybe meet new friends. He started his new life in Ponyville, this small but peaceful place seemed somewhat boring to him, but nonetheless he tried his best to continue his magic studies and practise for a magic exam in the distant future that would soon step him up from being a novice. Nowadays as a young stallion he spends his time walking often, deep in thought, feeling that his loneliness and lack of confidence is maybe holding him back from his potential greater capabilities, hoping that someday he will find someone who understands him and will be his best friend.
