Appearance: Proud yet humble, strong yet reserved. Standing at a normal stallion of his age's height, wielding a morning star twice his weight, seemingly effortlessly. His armor consists of chain mail beneath a white, hand decorated tunic, a tower shield with tight latches to hold his weapon and keep the shield rooted to his front left leg. Atop his head is nearly always a steel Frog-Mouth helmet with golden linings. When nude, his brilliant white coat is permanently dirtied by his previous battles, well hidden scars hide in many places all over his body, the most noticeable being a small scar the crosses vertically across the left side of his lips. His golden mane is kept short by warrior standards but is almost always seen in a well tamed and respectable manner as would be expected of most knights. Frighteningly deep blue eyes hold back visions while taking in and caring for each new one he encounters.

Cutie Mark: Upon his flank sits a golden sun, an obscure and blank face in the center, eight symmetrical rays expanding from it. The symbolism of this mark is the way in which Solaire discovered himself in his god, how he devoted his life, how he was gifted with the Sun God's blessing.

Personality: Solaire is a generally charming, level-headed knight who always seems to have his mind set on something. In the presence of friends, he is calm, composed, happy, and always radiating his good feelings to those around him. In the face of enemies, he takes a much more calm, relaxed demeanor, often remorseful of the violence, always trying to help, always fair and always forgiving.<br />Merciful.

Backstory: Solaire hails from a region of Equestria that very few know of, Celestia and Luna hardly hold any information of this place. It is simple referred to as the 'Badlands'. In a small village a colt was born to a knight and his loving wife. This knight was highly regarded in his country as a brave warrior, previously having served as the King's personal guard. The colt was different from the rest, he looked nothing like his parents, both brown ponies with red manes. He was gifted a blessed child of the Sun God. The little town of Astora was soon displaying their full-grown knight, Solaire of Astora quickly became the greatest knight in all the land, highly revered for his fighting abilities and his devotion to the sun god. On one fateful day, the King spoke his dying words to Solaire. '... Great knight of Astora... You must take the crown... Lead our people to glory...' As his duty to the King, Solaire took power and ruled for 5 wonderful years, yielding a single male child, before a ray of light broke through his window. Whether it is truth or fiction remains mystery, but something spoke to the stallion that day, for he crowned his king and left. 3 years passed before Solaire set hoof in Equestria, his destination. He arrived with a mission, a mission from god. The Dark Gods have planted seeds in the land, evil was rampant and the Paladin from Astora, wielding the North Star, would dismiss them. By any means necessary. <br /><br />3 years of absence was all it took for the entirety of Solaire's throne to be devoured in an unholy hellfire, the citizens gone, their history erased. Solaire knows nothing of this. Only one pony in existence knows of this.
