Personality: Somber is the literal definition of a sad pony. It would take a lot of tries to get this pony to smile. He's also usually quiet, barely speaking a word. Groups scare the absolute crud out of him, and causes him to run off. He can only take up to two people talking before running.

Backstory: Born in Cloudsdale, Somber Tunes was a generally shy and depressed pony. Being the laughingstock of the Junior Speedsters Flight School, he dropped out, destined to fly easily with no help. Sadly, he fails, and gains a job of trying to create snow clouds for the weather team. However, a mishap with a storm cloud causes him to spiral out of control, and sends him straight down towards Ponyville, landing in a lake. He tried to fly back up to Cloudsdale, but to no avail, he couldn't... Since then, he lived on the ground, playing the guitar that's always with him.
