Cutie Mark: Spring Sunshine was last in his class to get his cutie mark, but it was nevertheless meaningful. He lived on his grandfather's sunflower farm when he was a colt, and he was 11, his dear grandpa fell deathly ill. He stayed home from school for weeks to stay and run the farm until his grandfather finally passed. Grief stricken, Spring buried his grandfather in the open field and planted a sole sunflower there. He went right back to school then and there, smiling despite the pure sadness he was feeling. Soon, he noticed three smiling suns on his flank, representing a smile he would soon learn he could spread to everypony.

Personality: Cheerful and relaxed, Spring Sunshine is an easygoing pony with a gentle heart. Never one to start a fight, he usually ignores conflict. His sunflower farm is his pride and joy, and he'll greet everypony with a smile as warm as the sunlight itself.

Backstory: Spring's parents(Honeybee Sweet and Lemon Zest) died in an accident when he was 4 and went to live with his maternal grandfather, Nectar. When he was 11, Nectar died from throat cancer and from that day he has run the family sunflower farm. Spring currently lives on the farm with his pet dog, Jo.
