Cutie Mark: Static's cutie mark is a microphone with its cord winding behind it and sparking at the end. His special talent is singing in ways like his personality, he might start out quiet and sweet in a song but then changing to loud and gripping. He got his cutie mark when his friend Diesel Spark encouraged him enough to do a show, when he went through his final song, the ponies cheered extra loud and Static pushed himself into his signature style, thus his cutie mark appeared.

Personality: StaticBoom has a two sided personality, most of the time he is quiet and timid, he only speaks out and acts confident when he is with friends. Because he is usually timid and quiet, he has a lot of trouble dealing with anger, so his other personality is born. If somepony annoys him for a long time or if they say something offensive to him or his friends, Static becomes cold and bitter, snapping at anypony who tries to talk to him until he calms down. In this state he is violent if provoked.

Backstory: Static was born and raised in Cloudsdale with his Mum and Dad, he was a slacker all through school and really kept to himself, his parents had trouble figuring him out. He suffered ridicule as he had no cutie mark while mostly EVERYPONY did and he often skipped school and classes, he got in trouble with teachers alot because he would often become quite enraged during school time, he would talk back to teachers and he wouldn't pay attention. He dropped out of school and told his parents he wanted to move as the Cloudsdale 'vibe' really freaked him out and he didn't fit in well with the other pegasi, his father got mad as Static was an accomplished flyer and thought he would do just fine. But none the less Static moved out of Cloudsdale into the quieter atmosphere of Ponyville. <br /><br /><br />After living in Ponyville for a few months he met a pony called Heart Thread, they instantly hit it off and he fell for her hard and fast, they spent all their time together, he cared for Heart Thread and she returned the favor. She had a talent of calming Static down whenever he had an angry outburst. After about a year of being together, Heart Thread tragically died and Static lost himself, he got angry more easily and shut himself out from other ponies.<br />After a few months of grieving Static began to recover with the help of his few friends. <br /><br />He used to have a job in a business of making toys run by Heart Thread but now he is unemployed and gets by with odds and ends.
