Personality: Brave, strong willed, very loyal and kind, but can be very cocky and out spoken at times which gets him into trouble. Has a strong love for family and friends. He never backs down and fights with all his might.

Backstory: Steel shield grew up on a farm in a village on the border of the badlands, with his mother, father, little brother and sister. His father is retired from the royal guard. When he was young he looked up to his father and wanted to be a guard just like his dad. He is a great flyer, but never went to flight school, he learned it all from his father. One year his village hosted the summer sun celebration and Princess Celestia and her royal guards where there. His father knew how much his son wanted to be a royal guard. So after the celebration, his father went to go speak with Celestia and after a little catching up, he ask her a favor. He ask if his son could join the royal guard. Princess Celestia agreed and the next day when she headed back to Canterlot, she took Steel with him. The Princess put Steel under the Guidance and to be trained by Shining Armor. After a few years of training he became a full member of the royal guard.
