Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is a shooting star, representing her speed with flying, and how she helps with weather at night and day.

Personality: Stella is a kind mare who is friendly and loves having close companions. She is slightly like Rainbow Dash because she can be boastful about her flying, yet secretly admires the rainbow mare and would love to be her flying buddy! She's not into stallions, loves to help out and has memories of the night sky with her mother...

Backstory: Stella lived in the sky with her mother, father and younger sister. She loved flying with her sister (Quartz Shine) and just before bed, their mother would sit them on a cloud, gaze at the starry night and tell them stories about the stars. Then they would make a wish. But one day, her mother fell ill and died. Stella's father was so upset and because Stella was 14, he left with Quartz. Her father had always taken a liking to his youngest daughter. Stella knew she'd have to move away from the cloud house, before ponies got suspicious. So she moved from Fillydelphia to Ponyville, where she settled in with a kind earth pony mare called Melanie. Stella wants to find her sister, and hopes her father hasn't done anything horrible to Quartz. (He started drinking after his wife had died, and acted very differently.)
