Backstory: Storm was never the same after being struck by lightning. As a filly he tried to live in the footsteps of his older brother Light Wave, who was respected for charming nature and skill as an "athletic entertainer" (well it sounds better than dancer so...). Storm was never willing to accept his own limitaions. Once he was showing off by flying through a storm cloud when he was hit by lightning bolt. He barely survived and his humiliation was only held back by his cutie mark. A yellow lightning bolt with a black core. He came to realize what it meant, if he could recogninze and accept his limits, his own natural light would shine through, even where he thought there was only failure. Over time he kept flying through storm clouds, his body adapting to the shock of being struck and enjoying the trill of energy passing around him.
