Appearance: Look at the picture ya bloody maroon!
http://mlpforums.com/user/1987-pumkin/
^This fabulous guy made it. Isn't he swell?
Cutie Mark: A storm cloud with a lightning bolt and four drops of rain. What does it mean? Well, it obviously means he is good at making storms! Duh! He does something with his wings to make them beautiful and raging, but not dangerous. He does his job and he does it well.
Personality: Stormwing is a kind, considerate, and bloody brilliant kind'a guy. He doesn't act out, and he doesn't get mad, but he will defend his friends with tooth and cl- wait, ponies don't have claws, and their teeth aren't really much for fighting are they? Hmmmmm, well he.... can make a good argument? Yeah, lets go with that. Oh, and he fell in love with a certain somepony that shan't be named right now. Its a secret. Unfortunately for good ol' Stormie, she has no idea he exists. But he is hopelessly in love with her, poor guy. Maybe he'll catch her eye someday. Oh, he is also a fantastic chef, but he hates cooking, despite his skill. He prefers to work with his storms all day and fantasize about his crush. Though he'd never admit to that latter part. He is is a very top-notch flier, but only shows it off when he knows nopony is looking, when other ponies are around, he stays modest and flies normally and at a normal speed. He doesn't want other ponies to think of him as anything special. (Though they already do thanks to his storm cloud mastercrafting.)
Backstory: Stormie doesn't really have much of a backstory. He has no dark foreboding past. He isn't involved in any ancient secret, and he certainly isn't any kind of ancient evil come back after a thousand years on Jupiter. He is just an average kid, who grew up in Cloudsdayle and moved to Manehatten once he felt the time was right. Now he works as a master storm-crafter in Manehatten. He is a well liked and well respected member of his community, and he wouldn't have it any other way. (Except for the way he could be close to the mare he loves, but we shan't get into that now.)
