Appearance: Scars on her flank.

One scar on her muzzle.

One scar across her left eye, straight down from her forehead.
Cutie Mark: Golden Sword

Represents Sun's desire to fight for all things good in the world.
Personality: Sun Razed is a very serious mare. She is very driven when it comes to her goals, such as becoming the best soldier. She has no real concept of doing anything other then training and fighting. It's all she's ever wanted to do, and Sun considers that the best fun she could have. She doesn't have much of a sense of humor, often not understanding the jokes tossed around by other soldiers. She gets confused by things like sarcasm, as Sun doesn't particularly read people well.

Sun never had many friends as a filly. She focused much of her time on training, even when she was little, and this led to her having a serious, solemn demeanor and lacking social skills. Sun isn't good with small talk or casual conversation. She finds it difficult to read the smaller cues someone may exhibit, and often simply accepts things at face value. It is easy for her to be deceived, tricked, or pranked and she's been a target of these things quite a few times. Especially being pranked because her reaction is often confusion, but never irritation or anger.

Despite being very stoic, Sun is quite easy going. She obeys orders but doesn't object if others don't. In fact, the Pegasus simply ignores what the other soldiers are doing most of the time. When pulled into a social situation, Sun is relaxed but silent. She may not really understand what other ponies are thinking, but she never really worries about it.

Sun is also very loyal and driven. She will always stay loyal to her superiors, Princess Celestia, and the memory of her father. Even if somepony else tried to lie to her or trick her about these ponies, she will refuse to believe based on the fact that they have earned her trust. Well, the superiors she has already known, anyway. Any new General, or Lieutenants, or anything are at first regarded with wary respect. It is only after she sees that they know what they're doing that Sun will completely trust somepony to give her orders. Sun is also quite driven in her two simple goals in life: make her father's memory proud by being a great soldier, and avenging the death of her father on the Griffon that killed him. Sun truly loved and respected her father a great deal.
Backstory: Backstory: Sun's father was a Lieutenant in the Army. He worked a lot, and Sun grew up mostly with her mother's stories about her father. She rarely got to see him, but Sun loved and respected her father. She thought of him as a hero, keeping the land of Equestria safe. Since Sun was a little filly she would play with sticks and pretend to be a soldier.

Sun gained her cutie mark, fighting for good, by fighting some timber wolves when they attacked her and her friends while they were walking by the Everfree Forest. She was nearly killed, but her friends fetched some older ponies and they fought off the timber wolves. It took Sun months to recover, and she still bears scars across her flank and one across her muzzle. Another stretched straight down from her forward over her eye. One ear is also ripped ragged. When her father heard of what she'd done, he gave her her first real sword and, when he had time, gave her lessons in how to use it.

When Sun was in her teen-equivalent years, her father went to the borders of Equestria and the Griffon lands to repulse an attack of Griffon rebels. He ended up being killed by the bloodthirsty leader and Sun was absolutely devastated. She signed up to join the Army, eager to get revenge for her father. Sun trains obsessively, but she still hasn't gotten the chance to fight the Griffon rebel leader. All Sun wants to do is find the Griffon that killed her father, and make him proud. She trains all the time and eschews any personal connections with others.
