Appearance: A bright cream-yellow pegasus with a blue and pink mane.

Cutie Mark: Sunny's cutie mark is a collection of musical notes.<br />One day, she was walking through the town, bummed out because kids at school had been teasing her. Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted a lyre resting in the grass under a tree. Out of curiosity, she picked it up and began to play it with her wings. The melody she plucked out on the strings was beautiful! It attracted the attention of all who were listening, and she got her cutie mark. She then discovered she could play many other instruments as well, and she was good at them, too!

Personality: Sunny is usually very upbeat and happy, but sensitive as well. She can easily be reduced to tears or to rage if you say the wrong thing.<br />She doesn't have any close friends, but she knows pretty much everyone in town.<br />Sunny is outgoing and extroverted, confident in anything she tries. She never plans for things, just goes with the flow wherever it takes her.

Backstory: On her father's side, Sunny's family has lived in Ponyville for a long time. Her great-grandfather moved there from Canterlot in the town's early days.<br />Sunny showed an interest in music since she was a filly, but always wanted to be a singer, like her mother, Sweet Melody. Sweet's older sister also happens to be Octavia Melody's mother.
