Appearance: Supernova is half changeling, half zebra. She has the general appearance of a zebra, but has holes in her hooves like a changeling, and tattered insect wings. However her wings are weak and useless, so she cannot fly. She also has fang-like canines like a changeling, but you can only see them when she opens her mouth. She has light brown stripes, and green eyes. Her muzzle is longer than that of a typical mare's, more like Zecora's.

Cutie Mark: Being half-changeling, she does not have one.

Personality: Supernova's got a split personality, something that's rather common with changeling hybrids. They can not really shapeshift, so instead they can change their personality, however they can't do it at will, so they end up with a split personality. Half the time Supernova is a rather decent pony, she's both wise and book-smart but is extremely shy, keeping to herself. She is a scientist, and is always working on various inventions; however all of them are harmless. The other half she is a deranged psychopathic mad scientist. She is not really "evil", but will do evil things to get what she wants when she is like this. Her experiments are often horrific. Her ultimate goal as a scientist is too alter her DNA to make herself ether pure pony or pure changeling, because she cannot stand being a hybrid, this is her goal whatever personality she has at the time.

Backstory: Supernova was born in Marefrica, to a zebra mother. Supernova's father was a changeling, the colony had been traveling at the time and had stopped in Marefrica. Supernova's father left soon after Supernova's birth. Being a hybrid, Supernova was born sickly. Her mother sent her away to Equestria for better medical treatment. Supernova has given medicine, and then sent back to Marefrica, however only to find her mother dead. Supernova set off to find the only family she had, her father. She went out to find the changelings, however soon she arrived in Equestria. Here she discovered about the attack on Canterlot. She assumed her father was dead as well (even though he wasn't.) The other ponies mocked her, and feared her. She was a hybrid of something foreign to them (zebra) and something that was a monster to them (changeling). They feared her, but she soon grew afraid of them. She ran off into the Everfree Forest and lived there. She was afraid to leave. She soon began to go sightly mad after this, she studied the sciences, looking for a way to fix her dilemma. She soon had her split personalities. She has been this way ever since.
