Backstory: <p> Surhay is a Saddle Arabian Wizard who had a troubled childhood. He grew up in poverty, with only a weak father to care for him. He worked as the apprentice of a cruel blacksmith. One day, a display of magic was put on in the Town Centre by a group of Wizards. They called themselves, the Order of the Red Dahlia. Surhay was fascinated by their magic and everyday after that one, he dreamt of wielding such powerful magic. Once again, the Wizards had appeared and when Surhay tried to leave, his mentor caught him. In that moment, the young Unicorn remembered every time his mentor berated and ridiculed him as he did now. In those memories he found an unknown anger that took the form of unchecked magic that blasted Surhay’s mentor into pieces. The Wizards spotted this and, in all the commotion as guards came to arrest Surhay, they let out an inferno and saved Surhay. From then on, they raised Surhay to be a powerful Unicorn Wizard. One day, they initiated Surhay into the Order and gifted him the sacred Jasmine Robes. The Order was a wicked one and constantly tormented Saddle Arabia, with the monarchy having no power to stop them. However, when Starswirl became known to the world, they called for his aid. Starswirl, Clover and another apprentice arrived in Saddle Arabia to face the Order. Surhay had left Saddle Arabia at the time, travelling Equestria. Starswirl and his apprentices killed the entire Order besides Surhay. When he returned, he was greeted with sneers and mocking laughs until he found out what had happened. Ever since, he travelled Equestria, in search of Starswirl to exact his revenge, killing all who disturbed his quest. He ended his quest with his sorrows as he died of old age and exhaustion. </p>
