Personality: Switchlock is a changeling, but unlike most of his hive, he believes it better to earn love rather than trick and deceive for it. Overall, he'll protect the ponies he cares for and do everything in his power to deserve the emotions he feeds off of. If he saves somepony, it's because he cares for their well being rather than his own.

Backstory: Switchlock, after the Invasion during the Royal Canterlot Wedding, had had enough of the life Chrysalis had forced upon him, and left the hive, knowing that if he didn't return to the Queen, he'd be assumed dead. He's made a vow never to return to that old way of life, and to convince any changeling he finds to join his cause.
