Personality:

Tellus is very gruff: She has no interest in dealing with those who consider themselves superior to her-- especially when it comes from those smaller than her. Ponies, griffons, and changelings have no right to talk down to her when they’re so small. She has no qualms with using intimidation to get what she wants, as her pointy teeth are especially useful when getting the best deals.

Her solution to a lot of problems is simply to punch it, which is very convenient because her fists could kill. No one has yet to test her theory. If she can’t punch it, she’ll yell, or throw a rock. Let out some steam so she can think of a solution. Her solutions aren’t very complex, either. She prefers quick, direct approaches, so don’t expect an expert-level heist out of her.

Tellus is a heavy believer in compensation. If she does you a favor and you’re not a little kid, you better pay her back. She will get violent if you don’t.

Being a prideful dog, Tellus won’t accept defeat until she’s beaten, whether that means in battle or in mercantile ability. And even that defeat can just drive her to try again. To her, you only won a small, insignificant battle in a war with her as the ultimate winner.

Still, Tellus can be quite gentle when it comes to little’uns. She’ll even give them rides every once in awhile.

Backstory:

For as long as she could remember, Tellus was apprentice of her pack’s head merchant. Being one of the most patient diamond dogs (and even then not by much), she was best suited to trading the gems her pack dug up for the treasures from beyond their territory. It wasn’t long before she grew an interest in learning about the Outside. Using her own personal stash of gems (hidden beneath her jacket), she explores what the world has to offer, often taking up jobs as a bodyguard or farm hand to replenish her capital. Over her many travels, she has heard tales from diamond dogs of “Seekers”-- ponies with the power to locate gems. She hopes to find one of these ponies and bring them back to her pack, as the gems found would allow them to prosper for generations.
