Personality: <p> Tender is very shy and timid at first, having been suffering from extreme anxiety. Despite his anxiety and shyness, he is a very kind stallion who will shy away from confrontation. </p>

Backstory: <p> Tender Cotton grew up in a modest family. His parents were both hard working ponies, but despite how much they earned, they never had many luxuries. Ever since he was a small colt, Tender had high anxiety, but it only got worse when his parents lost their jobs and had to take on lower paying jobs, meaning there were things they could no longer afford. After a  really bad panic attack, Tender found comfort in an old blanket of his, but he noticed it wasn't doing the full job. So, he gathered as much fabrics as he could, along with stuffing and started to create himself a teddy bear. It took him half a dozen tries, but after the sixth try, he had successfully managed to make a teddy bear. It was when he hugged it the first time, felt it's warmth and felt secure and had begun to calm down, that his cutie mark appeared. Later on in his life, he opened up a small plushie making store, which then begun to draw in lots of business, and he then expanded his shop and begun to make plushies especially for ponies with special needs. </p>
