Cutie Mark: The cutie mark is a magnifying glass examining a film reel, she has a talent for analysis and by extension, deductive reasoning.

Personality: Study has been accused on many occasions of lacking in emotion or empathy. Study is an almost fiercely logical pony, but despite popular opinion she does have feelings.

Backstory: Study had parents in Canterlot, but at a young age she left home and never turned back, she lived on the streets of Manehatten until she was old enough to get a job at a newspaper. There she worked as an office assistant before writing her first article.<br /><br />The article was published, after which she was promoted to assistant journalist. But before long she got bored writing the same news story week after week. So, she quit the newspaper and set up shop in Ponyville, where she runs a successful private investigation firm.
