Personality: When you get to know him, he is a fun stallion to be around. He likes to make jokes and tell stories, but to most ponies, he is generally serious and only says what needs to be said. Still, even then he isn't known to hold off on letting out of good wise crack when it comes to him.

Backstory: Time Warp was a blue colt with a gold-yellow short mane that saw things well beyond that of his normal peers and was always interested in the past, present and future. One day, when he was young, Time Warp was out walking on a trail that he discovered some time ago. The relaxing hike was short lived, as suddenly a blinding flash of light and blue sparks appeared before him. When the light faded, Time saw something he never expected to see; Himself, albeit much older. For what seemed like an eternity, they both just stood there and stared at each other. The older Time Warp gave him a look of encouragement and simply nodded as he disappeared in a similar flash of light. <br /><br /> In reality, the encounter lasted merely two seconds, but that was enough for Time Warp to discover what his future would truly hold for him and in that realization, his Cutie Mark appeared in a quick shine. There it was, a gold pocket watch now adorned his flank. He knew what this mean't, but that wasn't good enough for him. Time Warp had hypothesized about what the consequences of this event would be, and knew that he had to find a way to continue this endless cycle he had not yet began.<br /><br /> Being an Earth Pony, Time Warp had no access to Unicorn Magic, and therefore had to do it his own way- technology. Thanks to the brilliant mind of his oldest and best friend Quantum, he was able to finally create his dream. With both Time Warp and Quantum sharing the amount of brain power and physical labor, they managed to, after quite a few years of nonstop research and work, they finally managed to complete their greatest work: a working Time Machine. This device turned out to resemble a small, old-fashioned stop watch that was almost a mirror image of Time Warp's cutie mark. On this momentous day, Time took a moment to collect and refresh himself. As he stood looking into a mirror in Quantum's work area, a shabby old shed they neglected to manage the outer appearance of, He realized he looked exactly as he remembered the older him looking on that day years ago when he was young. With this, he knew now was the right time to test their new machine. The time to restart the paradox began years ago.
