Appearance: Dark blue mane and tail, both rather long. He is a bright white stallion, with light blue eyes, and black framed glasses.

Cutie Mark: A partially opened scroll, with a quill touching it. He is a traveling scholar, writing about all he finds in strange new lands.

Personality: He is usually rather calm, but free spirited. Never having stayed in one place, he isn't easily tied down to one spot. He is very curious about new things, and will quite often let it get the best of him.

Backstory: Topaz and His sister, Shooting Star, were both orphaned as young children in a fire. Topaz decided to slip away from his old home, and has lived a life with Star traveling with trade caravans, both to make money and to see new places.
