Cutie Mark: Upside down horse shoe (the symbol of luck once had, but lost)

Personality: Very nice and welcoming soul, often too hard himself , very strong believer in murphy's law but keeps hope through the toughest of situations. to his friends, tough luck is always loyal and kind, with his sense of "the worst shall come, but I'll still be beside you" radiating from him.

Backstory: When he was in school, tough luck tripped during lunch time, shattering half of his horn on a nearby table, though he was told he may never cast magic again, he fought to use his magic, and though he is not the greats magic wielding pony (lost half of his ear in a failed spell) he hopes to eventually be at least mediocre with magic.
