Personality: Valiant is very calm but when faced with an extremely difficult challenge can get enraged rather easily. Though he still puts his friends first and will always be there to help them. His studies with Twilight further reflect his outlook on life and friendship.

Backstory: Valiant Gamer is a Pegasus Pony from Manehattan, Called VG by his friends, he lives with his parents in your average middle class house. His mother is a famous actress and his father works as the CEO at Pony Works Inc. VG loves to play video games and is the "master player" among his group of friends. His favorite games include Pony Fantasy, Street Pony, Pony Kombat, Pony Quest, Super Pony Bros., The Legend of Pink, and his all time favorite game, Ponymon. In fact, when he beat Ponymon and collected all the different creatures he earned his cutie mark. His life was perfectly normal until he entered High School. He started to get lazy and his grades went down the drain big time. His parents noticed this and on multiple occasions took away the one hobby he loved so much. One day however, he came home with a report card that was the worst he had ever had in his whole career as a student. His parents were very ashamed and embarrassed and took away his video games until he could get his grades up. VG was upset, he hated his parents and life with so much hate it makes Kefka look sane. A couple days later, he received a visit from a very unexpected mare, Princess Celestia herself! He was shocked to find the highest of the Royal Canterlot line standing before him. His father had received a letter from Celestia a few days earlier saying she would drop by to talk about VG. Once everyone was gathered she told VG that he was lacking in more than just in grades, but in friendship. VG was confused, he had plenty of friends, that moved away from Manehattan way before he went into High School, never writing or visiting him ever again. VG asked Celestia how she knew this. She responded by saying that a certain relative of hers is able to see others dreams and through his dreams found that he was struggling more than any other pony in all of Equestria at the time. He then started getting tears in his eyes and begin to cry saying that he admits to having a depressing life, having no pony to call a friend, and further stating that video games are his only escape. Celestia wiped his tears saying that she has a way for him to be in a community where he could make plenty of friends. Celestia then told VG's parents about having VG continue his studies in Ponyville where he'll not only be taught by the greatest scholar she knows in every subject, but will also be learning about the "magic" of friendship. However she stated that it would be VG's decision. VG almost automatically said yes. Celestia then gave him all the things he needs to get to Ponyville as well as info on where he'll be staying at. He thanked her and the princess and she took her leave. The next day, VG said farewell to his parents and he was off to Ponyville. A couple hours later he finally arrived. A couple minutes after walking into town, he was greeted by a party loving pony who we al know as Pinkie Pie. VG was happy to meet her and asked Pinkie for directions to his destination. She of course said yes saying his destination was where one of her best friends lived. Upon there arrival, VG was shocked to meet his roommate and teacher, Twilight Sparkle. He bowed before her but she told him not to worry about treating her so royally. He then met her "Number 1 Assistant" Spike. After settling, the had lunch and VG introduced himself to Twilight. However she already knew everything about him because of Princess Celestia so VG felt a little stupid.� Twilight invited� VG� for dinner that evening with all her friends. VG happily accepted and from that point on, he knew that his new life in Ponyville had officially begun.<br />
