Personality: Quiet at first, rather imposing, Actually very nice once you get to know him.<br /><br />Due to travel and bad sleeping habits, tends to sleep during the day often and be active at night.

Backstory: Varian is a travelling SpellCrafter. Usually his life consists of travelling across the land, learning spells and storing them away, before making trips back to his lab to utilize them.<br /><br />Eldest of 4 siblings, parents deceased. Got his Cutie mark at the age of 10 when he had to do a class demonstration of various magic spells. By using many spells in ways they weren't supposed to be used, he managed to teleport the class halfway across the continent. Granted he was just trying to teleport himself to the icecream store.<br /><br />From there he realized that his love for magic was in taking all the types of magic and lifting them above their intended use.
