Backstory: Violet's mother had died giving birth to her, and her dad neglected her, so she ran away, becoming an orphan. She lived on the streets, until a scientist took her in. She then lived happily with her new dad and brother, Xenon. She never got her cutie mark during school (because she was told to wait for it to happen) , making her advenurous nowadays. When Xenon got a new house in Ponyville, she was happy to live with him, hoping that his talent with potions will help her earn her cutie mark.
