Cutie Mark: Viridian's cutie mark is a simple green leaf. It symbolizes his talent for gardening and general knowledge for plants and such. It also shows his tranquil nature.

Personality: Viridian is a calm, but quiet pony. He prefers the serene nature of a town like Ponyville than the loud noise of Fillydelphia or Manehatten. Like many ponies, he prefers peaceful methods over violent ones.

Backstory: Viridian was born to a rich family in Manehatten. He was expected to continue the family business and take over his father's company. Even as a child, though, he hated the bustle and activity of the city. His favorite retreat was the calm Centrot Park. He loved all the flowers and trees, and spent his time with the park caretakers learning about the plants, where they can be found, how to plant them, and other relating knowledge. After many visits to the park, he had finally gotten his cutie mark. His parents, while pleased he got his cutie mark, were still a bit saddened about how he would become a gardener rather than a chairman. He spent several more years with his family until he was old enough to move to the much smaller Ponyville. After some pleasant conversations with Mayor Mare, he was given a shop where he could sell various plants and spread his knowledge of greenery.
