Appearance: Viridian Spark is a relatively small colt for his age. His fur is green and his mane is darker green with brownish stripes.
Cutie Mark: A silver anvil with two yellow sparks over it.

His Cutie Mark represents his natural ability on blacksmithing and his fondness on reforming things to suit his needs.
Personality: Viridian Spark is the dictionary definition of a happy-go-lucky pony. He is very carefree and tends to take things very easily. To him, nothing is too dangerous or impossible. While this attitude can entertain everypony around him, sometimes it can also gets him in trouble with older ponies or the authorities.

He loves to try out new things. If someone tries to forbid him from something, most of the time he will try in all of his might to find out why that particular thing is forbidden. He prides himself on his creativity on producing new things out of the most unlikely materials. If something can explodes or radiates unnatural light, he would be the first to toy around with it and found new ways on how to use it.

Outspoken, forgetful, easily excited over the smallest things, and quite oblivious to many things around him, Viridian Spark often found himself unable to please others that expect many things from him.
Backstory: Viridian Spark was the only foal from a family of earth ponies in Baltimare. His parents was justifiably surprised to foal a pegasus, especially when none of them ever recalled if they had any pegasus ancestry, but they showered him with love and care nevertheless. Viridian lived a wonderful childhood. He was quick to make friends with other foals in his kindergarten phase, even the bullies couldn't help but to find his antics entertaining.

As a pegasus with two earth ponies as parents, Viridian Spark was never in a hurry to take the sky. He spent most of his free time helping his father, who had a small metal workshop. He earned his cutie mark when he accidentally fixed a stubborn forge by smashing the gas valve with a hammer. Since that day, he never stopped trying to find new exciting ways to create something that others may see as useless.
