Appearance: Virtuoso is a male Unicorn, of average build. He has a dark blue-gray mane, with a grayish-lavender coat. His eyes are a deep indigo.

Cutie Mark: Virtuoso's cutie mark is a music note, a paintbrush, a chisel, and a quill, all side by side. It is a testament to his masterful artistic pursuits.

Personality: He is a very reserved individual. Although he does enjoy being in the company of friends and acquaintances, the simple peace that comes with solitude is always the young Unicorn's preference. Virtuoso is considered very laid back, and humble about his skills as an artist. He seldom praises his own work, despite being content and proud with what he makes, whether it be paintings, music, a literary piece, or a sculpture.<br /><br />He dislikes crowded places. The hustle and bustle life of Canterlot was good for employment, but not so much for his comfort.<br /><br />Virtuoso, perhaps due to his discomfort of crowded places, loves traveling. His love of traveling has led him across multiple destinations cross Equestria, albeit for a short period of time. His travels are often fuel for his artistic endeavors.<br /><br />

Backstory: Virtuoso was born to a Pegasus father, and a Unicorn mother. His father is an engineer at the weather factory in Cloudsdale, while his mother is a chef living in Vanhoover. His parents are separated. At a young age, Virtuoso discovered his talents in the fine arts, which quickly led to his discovery of his cutie mark. His parents thus sent him, at his own request, to the Royal Youth Academy of the Arts in Canterlot where he received a majority of his schooling and further training as an artist.<br /><br />Since graduating, he stayed in Canterlot for a short period, freelancing as a painter and a poet. He regularly took art commissions, from townsfolk and nobility alike. He was once even commissioned to paint a portrait of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, together for the first time since Luna's return from banishment. He infrequently played the viola and erhu as part of the Royal String Ensemble. <br /><br />He left Canterlot shortly after his 18th birthday, spending the last 3 years traveling across Equestria, earning bits the same way he did back home. Sometime after turning 21, he traveled to Ponyville, to be closer to his father in Cloudsdale. He took residence on the outskirts of the town, renovating an abandon mill into a suitable living space and an art studio of sorts, to continue his talents.
