Appearance: A pale beige pegasus pony with long strawberry blonde hair.

Cutie Mark: An orange spark. Although Vital Spark is still at school, she wants to be an inventor when she finishes, and can often be found tinkering with various mechanical parts in her spare time.

Personality: Although Vital Spark is a pegasus, she always feels like she'd prefer to have been a unicorn. A magic horn would be useful for her chosen vocation.

Backstory: Vital Spark goes to school in Ponyville, and is in Miss Cheerilee's class. She doesn't have many close friends, but gets on well with Scootaloo and Rumble.
