Appearance: Viv has a pastel orange-yellow coat. She has maroon colored eyes and a well-groomed purple mane tied Applejack-style. The bobs (?) of her hair are curled, similar to Rarity's mane.<br />She has a slender build, but is about the same height as the Mane 6 (discounting Twilicorn)

Cutie Mark: Vivace's cutie mark is a purple eighth note with its flag (pointy top bit) headed towards the left side. The note is surrounded by two maroon pegasus wings. It represents her ability to compose and play music, specifically on the piano, almost on the spot.

Personality: She needs a fast-paced life to survive and is easily bored. As a result, she's socially outgoing and makes friends quite easily. However, in this rush she sometimes forgets her closest friends and becomes quite inconsiderate. When she spends time with friends and family, she's more slower-paced and tries hard to take the time to enjoy being with the ponies she love. Viv is very talented at the piano and usually gets praised a lot for it, but when she hears negative comments directed at her she takes them very seriously and are hurt by them. She only cares about her appearance when she goes on stage. Otherwise, she is indifferent about fashion.<br />Vivace is very affectionate, but isn't that interested in romance. She is heterosexual. The most you could possibly get out of her at this stage of her life is a cuddle. She is pretty generous, but when times gets tough she usually focuses on herself. Viv is moderately easy to provoke, and will fight when cornered.<br /><br />Likes: Music (isn't that obvious?), Dogs, The colour purple<br />Dislikes: Criticism, Insects, Laziness<br />

Backstory: Vivace was born in Manehattan to a pegasus and an earth pony. Her parents were both moderately famous actors and she grew up alongside fame. She began to develop a fascination for music at a young age, when her parents took her to some of their play performances. She stayed backstage and saw the crew of ponies play music as the play went on.<br /><br /> One night, her school hosted a play, and Vivace landed the part of a character who played a piano onstage. Moments prior to when she had to perform, a strong gust of wind blew the sheet music off the (open) stage. Nopony in the audience noticed, but the actors were all silently panicking inside, Vivace most of all. 'How could I play without music?' she thought. The audience was waiting patiently for her to start, assuming it was some kind of stage fright. The clock ticked on, and Viv made a dangerous decision: she decided to wing it.<br /><br />She thought of the catchiest tune she could and played it, hooves trembling all the while. The other actors were amazed at how this little filly improvised so quickly. As she finished her song and the unsuspecting audience applauded, she saw a flash of light near her flank - her cutie mark had appeared! Her parents were overjoyed at this news. They decided to help her hone her talents by letting her compose music for several of their plays, which received great responses.<br /><br />Some of her classmates, however, were jealous of the fact that she was one of the first to get her cutie mark. They teased her and criticised her about her skills, which hurt her deeply. She dealt with it, one day, when a group of headstrong colts cornered her. She had no choice and beat them up rather badly, considering she never had any training in martial arts. The whole incident was kept quiet by all four ponies involved, but they steered clear of her.<br /><br />Years after she got her cutie mark, when she was a young mare, she decided to move out and into a small house in Cloudsdale, earning money by doing one-of-a-kind performances at concert halls and parties around Equestria.<br /><br />She has a pet corgi puppy, Forte, whom she found on the streets one night after her performance and took in under her wing (possibly literally). He lives up to his name and is very affectionate.
