Personality: He's a generally kind pony and always wants to help. In fact, wanting to help the weather team helped him get his cutie mark. He can get determined if need be, but he doesn't get rude when he does so.

Backstory: He was last in his class to get a cutie mark. He loved the idea of being on the weather team and especially liked the thunderstorm team. One day, lightning couldn't be produced for the scheduled thunderstorm, and because of it the pegasi would be behind schedule. Volt wanted to help, and his body sporadically created electricity. He wanted to go tell the weather team he could help, but he wasn't a very good flier, and they were out of earshot. In frustration, more lightning was created and he switched places with a weather pony on the cloud in a flash of sparks. It was then that his cutie mark appeared, and he now helps provide lightning for the thunderstorm team.
