A mysterious person named "The Guide" helped him cross dimensons. He now resides in Ponyville, and uses the spells in the Book of Eridanis frequently. The book seems to be related to two ancient twins, Eridanis and Morningstar, who are said to represent the Earth and the heavens, respectively. The book was written by Eridanis.
