Wayward Wander

Appearance: Wander is a brown coated pony with a golden mane, which has a white streak in it. His eyes are a soft gold color and his tail is the same color as his mane, which has a similar streak through it. He usually wears a light brown travel vest and a faded, torn, brown scarf bunched up around his neck. Wander also always carries a backpack. Although he's a slightly below average sized earth pony, he's very physically strong due to his line of work.

Cutie Mark: Wayward's cutie mark is an older styled lantern that is lit with a flame andhas a few embers flicking off of it.

Personality: Wayward is very energetic and is excited almost all the time, so much so that if he gets serious you know there's something wrong. The only thing he ever gets serious about is his work, and will get offended if it is talked badly about. He stands up for anyone being picked on, and cares more about his sister than he would ever care for anyone else. Despite his spunky demeanor, he doesn't trust very easy.

Backstory: Wayward Wander was born into a family that pass their second name on to every foal that is born. The Wander-Finder family. His sister was born roughly 3 years after him, and immediately loved her to death. He always stayed close to her and protected her. His sister, Hush Wander, didn't speak a word for the first 6 years of her life, and even then her first words were to Wayward himself. To this day, the only pony Hush talks more than a few words to is Wayward. Now about Wayward himself. Ward became interested in gems and artifacts very early on in his life, and his idol was the great Daring Do. Eventually, he managed to make his dream a reality and made a small Spelunking team. Now, he simply goes into caves looking for precious metals, gems, and ancient artifacts. Every now and then, he likes to go outside spelunking and go on other research expeditions. He never stays in one place very long, and tends to get lost easily, except when he's in a cave.
