Appearance: Teal fur, yellow/tan mane. Constantly wears his "lucky" flight hat which he nicked from his old flight academy.

Personality: Wind Shear is loud, selfish, obnoxious, narcissistic, and most of all sleazy. He fancies himself the handsomest pony in Equestria, and also the greatest flier, neither of which are true. He carries an air of general unpleasantness that make most ponies distrust him instantly. He has little in the way of morals and is not above doing anything illegal as long as it benefits him (and doesn't require much effort).<br /><br />Wind Shear is under the belief that he's Celestia's gift to mares, and never wastes an opportunity to hit on or otherwise proposition any nice-looking fillies he spots. These advances invariably meet with pain for Wind Shear, but his ego quickly recovers. He's incredibly lazy, and won't do anything if he feels there's no benefit to him. This makes it very hard to get Wind Shear to follow commands and makes him incredibly frustrating to work with.<br /><br />He's not particularly talented at flying, but what he lacks in skill, he makes up for in speed, which is one of his very few talents. Years of fast pickpocketing and having to escape police have conditioned him to be a respectably fast flier when he needs to be. Though getting him to actually use his abilities when you want him to is easier said than done.

Backstory: Wind Shear was born in Senrimashi, a cloud city in the Far Eastern lands, but he grew up in Las Pegasus, Equestria. There he made something of a reputation for himself as a small-time thug and petty criminal. He would usually do odd-jobs for mob ponies and commit burglaries and other small crimes for fun and profit.<br /><br />Always looking for a way to get rich quick, these profits were inevitably wasted in Las Pegasus' famous casinos, which led to some sizeable debts to some very dangerous ponies. He eventually caught the eye of Red October, who was at this point desperate for more troops, and was asked if he would join with him. Wind Shear, himself desperate to pay off his debts and maybe find some fortune of his own, he decided to join up. There, he found his first real friend in Fallout, and would become a major pain in Red October's side.
