Cutie Mark: An open scroll with a mismatched symbol on on, which may (or may not) be a compass. It is symbolic of her path through life - following her own course and learning from her own mistakes, rather than those of others. This quality has resulted in a curious condition where Wish learns by 'doing' extremely quickly, but fails to grasp even the simplest of concepts without practice.
Personality: Wish is a plucky and affectionate mare: she is unwaveringly stubborn in her ways and will almost never change her course, but cares deeply for others. Even as an adult she maintains an almost childlike optimism.

As one might expect, this can cause her some problems, if helping others would draw her away from her own objectives.

Her goal in life is the same as it always was - to seek out her brother. While she had found traces of him, fates seem to conspire to keep the two of them apart. While she might now have a stronger sense of independence and morality, she still struggles to put off her journey for long periods of time.

She is well traveled and has seen her fair share of unusual sights: has felt pain and has learned to fend for herself and (if need be) to fight. She wears a heavy suit of armor which she had crafted in the image of that she remembers her brother wearing - it wasn't cheap and took for too long to earn (in her eyes) but she is immensely proud of it.
Backstory: Wish grew up on a quiet farm near Trottingham: when she was young her brother left home to seek knowledge of his history - being a lone unicorn born into a long line of Earth Ponies. After Scribe stopped writing, she became worried - as a youth will. As expected, her family forbade her from following him when she brought up the idea, so after several months, she took matters into her own hooves and slipped away during the night.

Taking her family keepsakes, the mare wandered from place to place for years - eventually picking up the trail of her brother. No matter where she went though, she was never in the right place at the right time.

Living mostly on cheerful optimism and when she knew from various stories, her misadventures taught her a number of life lessons: as did the ponies she met. She became the proficient adventurer that she always saw herself as - but still wanders, seeking her brother.
