Virgil 686 August 24, 2014 Share August 24, 2014 Tough call and I was very tempted to say the 70's given that was when most of my favorite bands were most active. But gotta say 60's. I mean, you have guys like Bob Dylan, Hendrix, The Beatles, Otis Redding, The Who, Cream, and that's just off the top of my head. And not to mention how many bands started off in the 60's only to hit it big in the 70's. Sure there has been a lot of great band in other decades but still no where near the volume, and quality of the 60's. Plus I feel like a number of bands continue to just imitate parts of what some 60's artists were able to accomplish. I know there's a place you walkedWhere love falls from the treesMy heart is like a broken cupI only feel right on my knees.I spit out like a sewer holeYet still receive your kissHow can I measure up to anyone nowAfter such a love as this?
