How you became a fan of My Little Pony My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Pinkie PieHow did you find MLP Forums?: Searching on yahoo How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: i first heard about this show from hasbro's many commercials. At the time was not interested in the least. And knew not how beloved and famous it was on the internet. then almost 4 years ago, I saw the sheer amount of fanart of mlp. The art was pretty good and it was then I realized how popular it was. And since I have a "don't knock it till you try it" policy, I checked it out only to see why it's so popular. I only went through the pilot episodes before all the cutsy girly moments drove me away. The show... Was alright to be honest, the animation was the best I've seen in forever, but I wasn't into it. A friend who was a former fan (not a brony) recommended the fanfic fallout Equestria but I never got around to reading it. 2 years later I discovered Screwattack's Death Battle Web show. One episode in particular was Starscream vs Rainbow Dash. A giant robot vs a winged pony. During the analysis portion, it showed off scenes from the show that looked absolutely amazing, and that they used logic in how a pony could beat a giant alien robot. But still I didn't return to the show. The braking point came earlier this year with the youtuber Joshscorcher's "Top Ten Music Battles." The number 7 (or 6, can't remember) spot had a music battle from an episode in season 4 which featured a character voiced by "Weird Al" Yankovic. Weird Al in MLP. The concept suprised me as I watched a polka duel between Pinkie Pie and Weird Al... That was when I caved and gave the show a second chance. I am a young male just starting college. My avatar is. Dragon Pony born from the union of a dragon and an earth pony. He was born when I got to Dragonshy and, at the time, I was a Skyrim fan. I am currently writing a fanfic of his story and putting together an analyst channel on YouTube. I hope to find some great friends here and I look forward to talking with everypony.
