The Run- A Group of Haiku Telling The Story of a Young Pegasus

I must, I must run.

Quick, quick, I must escape it,

it crawls up my mane,

It makes me afraid,

So afraid that I can't live,

I must. I must run.

The wind feels my face,

My horseshoes clop on the ground

Then I think, "Must I?"

Must I run? Should I?

My gallop comes to a trot,

which slows to a stop.

I can't. I can't run.

I then think, "Why run? Why'd I ?"

They won't stay, they can't!

My fears can't stay here.

My fears can't live here.

So I mustn't run.
