Silhouette - Opinions on this Anti-hero concept?

Hi, first post in this section. And first OC I have really fully developed.

Came up with this OC idea last night after having a long (really long) conversation about superheros and villians in general.

I thought about the idea of 'superheros' in the poniverse and how the idea (i feel) is sort of naturally downplayed (short of power ponies and mare-do-well (Who of course wasn't quite as super as she seemed)). I think this is because it's already a land of magic and by natural default, everypony technically has a superpower of sorts. Pegasus and unicorns more in particular. Even so, earth ponies have feats only they can manage. Sort of like any fantasy world with magic, think Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter, none of them are called superheros.

So I spent some time thinking about what makes a superhero super and tried developing an OC that could be considered a superpony, while trying to avoid the classic lazer eyes or superspeed (Which power ponies did already anyway). The end result ended in what is more of an antihero that falls under tvtropes, Good is not nice, category. Actually I think this character is more of an entity then anything else, either a guardian and/or an energy being (maybe made of magic?).

Without going into the origin story right now, here are a list of powers and faults.

Powers

  • Can choose not to exist at night (Meaning physically non-existent or intractable until day.)
  • Can morph into 'liquid shadow'
  • Can manipulate shadows shape and structure.
  • Can fade into darkness at night (Like becoming a mist, being illuminated forces her back into shape)
  • Immortality (The ageless variety, considering some circumstantial resurrective)
  • Flight

Faults

  • Must exist (in some form) during the day
  • Can no longer speak (Has forgotten)
  • Trauma-Induced amnesia (Brought about by a psychotic break from being trapped alone within shadows for several hundred years. Essentially she isn't who she was anyway so even if she could remember it probably wouldn't change much. She likely wouldn't even believe the memories were her own after being so disconnected from them for so long.)
  • Has lost the ability to manipulate weather (Was born a Pegasus)
  • Anxiety, panic attacks and weakness from extended exposure to sunlight (photophobia/heliophobia) (Don't think vampire 'oh it burns!', more like claustrophobia 'oh god its closing in on me!')
  • Fear of being seen or looked at (Scopophobia) (And general social anxiety)
  • Doesn't have a shadow (Is that even a fault?)

All that said, I'm not sure if I plan to DO anything with this OC. I mostly wanted to develop a character. I don't see how I could write a story based on her, short of a 'legend' by ponies who witnessed her? Its hard to write a story about a non-speaking entity that fears direct interaction with those she maybe helps or maybe harms. I'd really have to develop other characters for her to act as a background effect around them. Other then that, I like the concept.

Any opinions on design/concept/or potential story plots/arcs outside the origin story?

Made up the full bio as I have it so far as well now, which can be seen in the character DB here. I'd be interested on opinions on that as well.
