King Sombra's Fall

So this was a theme that has been in my mind for a while, and I finally found the motivation to put it into my computer and make it a reality. It isn't much, but I think it sounds pretty cool. It's basically the second part of my series of songs, the first being the joyful march, the second being the somber fall. I originally wanted to have a vocal part, but for some reason I really like the sound of the viola in this song.

The song is undergoing some heavy development at the moment. "This is not even it's final form!"

I think it´s good. Maybe the violin should be a little lower. Idon´t know. Consider it good.

Okay...

I like the piece's dark tone, but it's too fast. Slow it down a little.

Also, your strings could use more character. They're lacking that depressive fall-like tone. The attack on the main solo violin is too hard. Soften it so that way it could sound more expressive. Also, add some reverb to it, for it just sounds too dry.

Keep your background strings steady. Make the upper background strings come in on beats 1 and 3 and keep your lower strings held for the whole 4 beats per measure. This way, it wouldn't sound like a piano solo, because it seems like you made a piano solo only with a string sound...
