How do I create MLP style vector backgrounds?

So i had an idea for some art i wanted to make but it won't look any good without a background, but then i got to thinking.. If i am to make art I'll need to learn how to make backgrounds..

 

I'd like to learn how to make the vector backgrounds in the style of those displayed in the show, and i searched for some tutorials online, but there doesn't seem to be many guides if any..

 

And so i thought I'd ask here if anyone knows of some good tutorials, or about how to draw the MLP style backgrounds from your own experiences.. That way, when i make art with ponies i can make a scene to put them in

 

I'd like to learn both the indoor and outdoor scenes, I'd imagine the outdoor scenes would be a lot easier to make than indoors due to the perspective of things..

 

But yeah, I'd appreciate any help or advice you're willing to share
