Well I didn't know exactly where to put this so I think this should be an alright place.

 

Everyone loves poetry, so post some! It can be about anything as long as it relates to the show. Theres no restrictions on the kind of poem it should be, it can even be a single word or phrase if you wish.

 

I'll start off, I call this one "Poème pour la Tristesse de Fluttershy" (litteral translation: Poem for the sadness of Fluttershy)

 

The steady rhythm of your wings

Cease for the race the race that you've prepared.

The confidence you had no longer sings,

Judgement from others makes you scared.

 

But you overcome the fear,

Hold back the tears,

The finish line draws ever near.

You finish, and though you've conquered yourself...

The progress you've made is not good enough.

 

Not good enough to help your friend...

Or to even make the mocking end.

 

Oh Fluttershy...

Though the disappointment ails you.

Heed these lessons as you cope

That the true tragedy is not the failure,

But the abandonment of hope.
