Could Smolder Possibly Be Cheer Captain at the School of Friendship?

In a High School Sports Teams based episode of season 9 called "2, 4, 6, Greatttt!" we see Ocellus, Yona, 2 twin Pegasi, and even Smolder, form a Cheer-leading Squad coached by Rainbow Dash, who pretty much never had any experience with Cheer-leading before (Helping Fluttershy cheer loud for her in "Sonic Rainbom" doesn't count, cause it's just 1 Pony, and she wasn't getting the crowd exited for any thing either) nor do any creature on the Squad. But this ragbag team of Cheer-leading newbies, which consist of a shy nerd, an overweight girl, a par of dancers, the school outcast, and a Coach who's used to being out on the playing field and not on the sidelines, seem to pull it together in the end and pull of a Rose Bowl Type Halftime Show. But it end with the Cheer Squad just being formed. So one question remains. Who will become the first Captain?

Well, before the episode even premiered, an official picture of Smolder in her Cheer Jacket was released to the internet.

The thing is it is a Cheer Captains Jacket.
