Night Story

Again that time she sets the sun,

We raise the moon for night

Again that time to bathe the earth,

In cooling silver light

Again that time for those below

to fall asleep and dream

Again that time for those below

To miss the moonlight’s gleam

If we had failed to do our task

Would they had even seen?

Again the time for us to ask

If we were absent from this scene,

Would they look up and bat an eye?

No, they would sleep and would not care

Would they look up and wonder why?

They would not mourn, would not despair

Two ruling sisters, one nocturnal

Forgotten by her subjects yet

We bring about nighttime eternal

Maybe then they won’t forget

I don't know. I write a couple lines when I'm bored, then leave it behind, then continue again. It's a really weird hobby huh? ^^

It's not a wierd hobby. I used to write a fanfic like that, but I don't remember where I put it last time...
